| - Show Stopper I am the newest member of the AIC group at FFBH! I'm SO stinkin' excited! I even have my own telephone extension! How awesome is that! David's started baseball, we've made several friends, and life is just peachy! It's SO beautiful up here! For all you haters in Northeast Arkansas that always said Northwest didn't have anything to offer...you're just jealous because even though everything in Harrison shuts down at 9, it's so cool and there are no mosquitoes and it's just stinkin' awesome!!! Anyhoot, David has a game in Walnut Ridge at Williams at noon on Saturday and if I don't see some folks there I know, David is gonna be disappointed and I'm gonna be yellin! | David's been in Harrison since Sunday afternoon and it stinks. BUT, we found an apartment and I went to Harrison to day and put the deposit down and we are moving in on the first of September! WOO HOO!!! Anyhoot, this has been a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong week and it STILL isn't over with yet, but I think I might make it.
God has shown me some things this week, and I really feel like I trust Him more now than I ever have. That's a GREAT feeling! I think that's all I have to say for today. I'm really tired and I have to work in the morning so I'm out! Hope everybody has a GREAT weekend and if anybody wants to have a girls night Saturday night, LET ME KNOW cause my house is totally open and this is the last time for a WHILE I'll be close to home and we don't have school the next morning, but church, but we can make it there just fine! | Sometimes I just wonder if people just think I'm stupid or if they mean to take advantage or if it just happens to me because I am stupid. That's all I really want to say right now.
Since we don't have any place to live at the moment I'm here until we can find an apartment and a job and that really sucks. Today was supposed to be my last day at Francesca's, BUT I think I'm working Friday, Saturday & possibly Sunday WHICH is good because I'll be making $$$ BUT I don't want to be without David. I guess it won't be very long, but I just wish things were easier sometimes but I guess that's part of growing up. Anyhoot, just keep praying for us and God will take us where we need to be. | | |
| Ok, so it's getting closer to time for David and I to really move. I think people think this is like the past 2 times the both of us has tried to move and that we really aren't. Not to burst anyone's bubble but we are leaving. We have an apartment lined up, David is accepted and we're just waiting to see what kind of financial aid we are going to get and where I can find a job. We aren't going to be 15 minutes away anymore and David's mom and dad are like freaking out. Well, not freaking out but his dad wants to talk to him every night, his mom is calling 5 & 6 times a day instead of 2 or 3 and it's kinda funny. I feel as though everbody expected us to drop out of school, get full time jobs and live on Welfare forever. Why do people always expect failure? I'm one of the worst so I'm not just talking about people in general, myself is included with that. Another note...I'm not sure what Jenny is going to do or what she expects us to do, but we are flat broke after we put down our deposit and move so I dunno what she is going to do, but she better figure that out. I don't mean that in a bad or rude way either.
Another thought. Who determines what is "in style?" Don't the designers and the people who make clothes? Isn't that a LOT backwards? We are buying what is "in style" because that's what the people who made the clothes say is "in style." That's like paying $30 or $198 for a shirt and jeans because J Lo or Jessica Simpson's name is on them. Shouldn't they be paying us to advertise for them? I mean, seriously that's insane!
I'm ready to move. That's all David and I have been able to talk about ever since we found out about. It's a new town, a new start, new responsibilities. I think and pray this will be a good change, no, a GREAT change. I don't know if there is a Nazarene Church there or not, but we saw a HUGE Baptist church and a Methodist church so I think we'll be alright. Anyhoot, gotta see if there are any new job listings so I'll see you guys later and hope you have a GREAT weekend!!! | | |
